Rhema
Today's Rhema

Dear Baroda Bible Club Members,

Loving greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are going to meditate the word of God more as in Psa 1:2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.  So that what ever you do in that you may prosperous.  Through this "Today's Rhema" we will be helping you in your daily Bible reading.

(1), We are going to arrange a Bible Reading Plan to help every one to read their Bible at least one time in every 365 days.  In this Bible reading program each of  you will be reading one passage from the Old Testament, one small passage from the New Testament, Few verses from the Psalms and one or two verses from the Proverbs.   This will certainly give variety and freshness to our own Bible reading.  It will never takes more than ten minutes of reading the Bible per day.

(2),  There will be a short message out of each day's Bible Reading Plan this will be given as per the leading of the Holy Spirit,  What ever the Lord puts in our heart as a Rhema.

What is a Rhema?

As we read the written word of God the Logos each day,  God gives us some food to our spiritual life or God speaks to us through a word among all the verses we read.  Some how we will feel this is for me, for my situation God is giving me an answer,  This is being done by the move of the Holy Spirit.  Many times this comes as a prophecy and revives our soul.

What  is the significance of this Rhema?

The significance of this word "Rhema" is 'the sword of the Spirit' Which is the word of God as it is in Eph 6:17  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  here the reference is not to the whole Bible as such but to the individual scripture which the spirit of the Lord brings to our remembrance for us to use in our time of need.  It is an utterance, a word from God with  his power as a statement,  or may be as a command or Instruction or advice to each Individual.  Since he is a living God.

(3), We will have some Extra  Bible References for those who want to meditate further on the same topic.

(4), There will be points to pray and deepen our own commitments towards God, to have growth in our spiritual life daily

(5),  A word to praise the Goodness of our Lord daily.

Kindly uphold us in this ministry.

With love and prayers
